Mark & Bridget have been married for 22 years and are very happy, for the most part. They do everything together and are seldom apart. Except for the considerable age difference between them and it is starting to tell. Mark is 25 years older than Bridget and prefers to go to bed early meanwhile Bridget still wants to go out in the evening. Mark often goes with her to the theatre and restaurants but a couple of times he has fallen asleep much to Bridget’s embarrassment. Bridget doesn’t mind going out on her own or with her friends and leaving Mark at home. But Mark feels he is letting her down.
