How do I find my passion? These are the questions I have been asking myself for years. My guess is that you have also been asking yourself these same questions. For a long time, I have always felt that photography, writing, traveling, and surfing were just hobbies, and in In my wildest dreams, I had not imagined that I would actually be able to turn my hobbies into a career. Start by asking yourself a couple of important questions: 1.) If money wasn’t a concern, what would you do with your time? 2.) What are your hobbies? 3.) What do other people say you are good at? 4.) Which one of your skills do you think you can use to benefit other people? One of the things that always kept me down was the thought, “I’m not good enough.” I would notice how other people were more advanced than me and it seemed they had more experience or more talent. I realized this was just a way for me to avoid the thought of failing at something I love. If I never tried, then I could always just keep them as a hobby, which is the safe option. When I finally started believing in myself and made the decision to put all of my free time and energy into building a business based on my passions, I knew I wouldn’t be able to do it alone. I started taking classes in photography, writing, and entrepreneurship. If nothing comes to mind right away as you’re asking how to find my passion, get out a sheet of paper and start writing down ideas This doesn’t need to be an organized list. It can simply be a paper full of random notes or even doodles. All of this will eventually come in handy later. Look around your house, on your computer, or on your bookshelf for inspiration, and write down whatever comes to mind. There are no bad ideas at this stage. It’s not uncommon for successful people to listen to a lot of motivational material and surround themselves with other successful people who are trying to do the same things? Starting a business based on your passion is a lot harder if you don’t find support and surround yourself with positive people who believe what you are doing is possible. In order to be successful, you need to build a positive mindset and make it a priority to do things that will keep your spirits lifted. You will especially need this during the tough times you encounter while building your business. It’s best to actually test your new idea before jumping into it as a career as you’re wondering how to find your passion. Do it as a hobby or side job at first, so that you can see if it’s really your true calling. You may be passionate about it for a few days, but where the rubber meets the road is whether you’re passionate about it for at least a few months.
