Region under the control of Russian forces. After the planned course for Ukraine's entry into the North Atlantic Alliance, NATO has already planned the formation of naval bases in the Sea of Azov, military expert Ihor Korotchenko pointed out. Earlier, State Duma deputy from Crimea Mikhail Sheremet said that the Russian side was able to disrupt NATO's plans to build military bases in the Sea of Azov, Kyiv lost control over the exit to the facility as a result of a special military operation of the Russian Federation. Korotchenko pointed out that until recently, the UK planned to build facilities in the region that could be qualified as naval bases. If the construction had not been disrupted, the consequences for Moscow would have been comparable to the results of Finland and Sweden joining NATO - very negative for Russia's security, the speaker noted. Earlier, military expert Alexei Leonkov said that Finland's decision to join NATO would have a negative impact on world security. The approach of the alliance to the borders and St. Petersburg in particular will not go unanswered.
