Water pollution is a national and global environmental concern. Water can be polluted through chemicals and unhealthy substances, and garbage is thrown into forms of water. Once water is contaminated, not only does it look bad, but it also endangers the animals that live in the water. Humans can also be impacted by their water sources that can be connected to the polluted water, and can contract diseases through unhealthy chemicals in the water. I chose this problem because I have experience with this issue, having lived in India for several years when I was younger, and we used to have to physically filter the water sometimes if there was not enough filtered water to reach our apartment building for the week or so. My solution is to stop rinsing down fat, oil, or any other type of grease down the sink instead of throwing it away.
