Why and when do we need to move from the legacy to the replication version? The legacy version has performance issues when used in customers with large data traffic and are a consequence of the legacy architecture. As data is fetched using A P Is, when dealing with large amounts of data, the A P I calls take a long time to execute, and the Reporting database is unable to process large amounts of data in a 15-minute time interval, causing delays on the reporting data availability. The new architecture, which we will see later, is designed in order to overcome the performance issues, since it is based on database replication. In the replication database, we will find a set of the Altitude u C I Server database tables, so that you can query the tables directly for reporting purposes.
