The project proposes sustainable, yet affordable solutions for water supply, and sanitation. The project will prefer surface water sources, for source development to counter, groundwater depletion. All the source points, will be equipped with disinfection arrangements. The sources will be designed for, 8 to 10 hours of pumping per day, where operational staff, will be placed for system operations, as well as, minor maintenance. The disinfected water, will be delivered, to large overhead community storage, through a sealed pipe line, up to a maximum of, 10 kilometer length.
