Ian Ockendon then mentioned that I do speak too loudly sometimes, and he has heard me. I have frequently messaged Tilda and Tess after a late night working on my thesis and speaking to friends overseas asking them if I had been “too loud” and have repeatedly been told that they “sleep like the dead” and “heard nothing”. I asserted to Ian and Tess that if they had been misleadingly advising me that I am not being loud that is a communication breakdown that can be easily solved with a direct conversation as I have invited them many times to text or direct message me in Facebook if I ever disturb them. I have not once received a message from any of them. I would assert the same about the woman from number 6. Rather than screaming at someone naked from their window, a calm conversation is much more rational when many people live in a clustered environment, and many tenants are keeping odd hours now due to COVID isolation or home-based work. Not to mention that they had only had dinner delivered one hour prior so they must have only just starting to prepare for bed, and since the woman at number 6 actually seemed more aggressive about the fact that I accidentally sent her dinner around to the wrong side of the apartment building, I believe that this was the true motivation for her aggressive/physically threatening response. Sadly, due to this lack of clear and honest communication and a tendency towards knee-jerk aggression in our community, the situation culminated with this neighbor threatening to physically beat me. Tess Edvardsen also advised me on August 16 2020 that the couple from number 6 are apparently friends with this same body corporate member from 10 Guy Street who came into our yard and cut up my property then sent the police to my house under false pretenses, which could explain the police’s commentary on “other people complaining with the owner”. 12 This entire report is being submitted to an LGBTI Liaison Police Officer, Yule Body Corporate and the Human Rights Commission for consideration.
