Hello! Today we are going to take a closer look at the different ways of making selections on the comparison files. Lets start with the templates available in the system. The Select all template covers the complete page. Use the Negative selection after Select all to remove sections you want to exclude from the comparison. The Cutting line template selects the largest non-black rectangle on the current page. This template fits files that include lines around the artwork, such as cutting lines. The Trim box template selects the trim box on the current page. If a template is chosen on the Select Files page, it will be applied to all pages. The QRD template is only available for the Source file and if it is in Word format and it’s used together with the Reading mode Manuscript. This template considers each paragraph or piece of text as a separate selection item and ignores text surrounded by graphical lines.
