In this first session, you will learn the complete outbound call dialing mechanism, and the basic concepts of each component responsible for dialing outbound calls. The session is presented in two sections. The first section is focused in presenting the outbound concepts. We’ll take a look at directories, services, campaigns and outbound rules. In the second section, we’ll see what is the needed infrastructure for a campaign to make outbound calls. Here, we will see contact lists and business segments, the importance of having agents and contacts available and, finally, the telephony switch configuration.
