Hello Everyone, since my unpopular k pop opinions video is the most popular on both of my channels I thought I'd do a part two! This time with possibly even more JUICY opinions. If you enjoy the video make sure to like and subscribe. With that out of the way, let's go on to the videoooo. Number 1. The top groups nowadays do not have to put good music anymore. Fans are so obsessed with their favs that they don't see the quality of music anymore, only that it's a song FROM thier faves. The top groups could release a song with one word in the whole song and fans would claim that it's transcendent in the music industry. Of course you can still support every comeback of your faves, just have your own thoughts on it as well. Number 2. Produce groups will never stay together for longer periods of time so stop asking. The same people who want this are the ones who throw hundreds of dollars for produce groups and then they wonder why they don't last long. Why would Mnet give a regular contract to these groups when the one they give now works so well. A big reason for these groups success is their scarcity. Would you buy an album from a group that might not have another one in the future or one from a group who will continue to create albums? Number 3. Stanning a group just cause they're underrated isn't a good enough reason. Now, I'm not saying to not give these groups a chance. What I'm saying is to check them out but don't force yourself to like them. You're not different and quirky if you Stan a underrated group. These type of fans also don't even put any effort into these type of groups. Ok Sharon you Stan a underrated group so can I see your actual promotions for them? Complete silence. So in conclusion, you SHOULD Stan groups cause of their music not level of success. Number 4. Hypocrisy is so freaking much in the K pop community. For example. When twice released "More & More" so many content creators and people on Twitter said they disliked it cause it was an empty chorus and was instrumental heavy. But when BP released "How you like that" the same people couldn't shut up about it. So what is it? Do you dislike beat drops or no? It's fine if you prefer one or the other, just at least have a valid reason for it. Number 5. More & More really wasn't that bad. While I'm on the topic of "More & More" being disliked I just want to say it's really not a bad song. It's completely different than any other TWICE song or k pop song for that. The instrumental is so addicting. Everyday I hum it and try and copy Zara Larson's voice lol. I don't think any music is bad persay but I do think some are better than others. And "More & More" fits that. All I have to say is "You're gonna say more, more, more, more, more & more. Meomchuji moshae More more more and more. Geuleoni Han beon deo" Number 6. K pop m/v comment sections are a mess. If you have seen the comment section of any k pop m/v you know what I'm talking about. Like whores run a mock. It's always "like if you are x, like that if you're y" . And what irritates the heck out of me is people who fall for this b.s. All these comments have hundreds and thousands of likes. Like are you cereal? I don't even look at the comment section atm cause it's a disgusting pig sty. If you encourage this behaviour by liking these type of comments plz stop being so guillable. Do you wanna give these people your credit card info too. Number 7. There is kinda a difference between k pop and Japanese songs. Let me explain. A lot people get annoyed when people ask for Korean versions of Japanese songs from idols because they think that there isn't a difference for foreign people. But there is a difference. After listening to k pop for so long I've learned a lot of Korean words. This means that when new songs come out in korean, I take less time to learn lyrics as there aren't too many new words. Songs in Japanese are mostly unfamiliar to me so I have to learn mostly every word. So, for example, Instead of taking like a month to learn every lyric in Korean, id take a month and a half to learn Japanese lyrics. Not enough to put me off from learning a song but enough to make a difference.
