Two other highlights were my opportunity to convene and speak at a men’s breakfast in 2017, and the “Is Genesis History” men’s tea in 2018. Both these occasions resulted in a period of encouragement of our Christian men in the trust we can have in God’s Word, and in the opportunities we have for fulfilling the Great Commission on a weekly basis. Again, I had hoped that more of these men’s events would follow. There were numerous opportunities, suggestions and offers for men’s fellowship Sunday evenings – with good selected movies, discussions and inspirational speakers, but it seemed difficult to gain traction.
