Here we are at the end of another member newsletter. We hope you have enjoyed reading the copy, and of course, we want to thank the members who took time out from their busy lives to create some excellent content for us to use for your information and enjoyment. My ambition is to make the Newsletter something that you look forward to and enjoy when it drops into your inbox each quarter. But, we cannot do anything without your help. In this issue, you found the usual mix. What it was lacking was a contribution from YOU! You can see what it is that you can contribute by the content sent in by other members. An item of between five and eight hundred words is sufficient, though I won't stand in your way if you want to write more. You can see in this issue, I have split a couple of articles with an introduction in the Newsletter and a link to the Website's complete content. Please help us make the Newsletter and the Website come alive with your contributions. Perhaps you could tell us about how your Country is coping with COVID-19!!! Here in the UK, as I write these few words, so far, nearly forty million people have had a first vaccine dose, and over twenty-one million have had a second vaccination. Last Monday, 17th May, saw the lockdown open up even more. Now we can meet our friends in each other's houses, and we can meet inside of restaurants for social gatherings perhaps most valuable of all, at last, we can hug our loved ones again. Brenda and I have not seen our youngest granddaughter for over eighteen months, apart from brief calls on What's App. I know one Grandma if she had had her way, she would have been in the car waiting for one minute past midnight of 16th May and as soon as that date changed from the sixteen to seventeen, off she would have gone down the motorway from Newcastle to Chorley in Lancashire, hugs all around. However, she did wait until 7:45 before setting off! I have to wait a couple of more weeks for them to travel up here so Sofia can play on Granddad's stairlift. You will hear more and more about the Counselling World Mapping project. Dirk, our President, is heavily involved in this work and has written a book giving updates on its European progress taking place at an ever-increasing rate. It involved together, the EAC and the research group at Cologne University. The book will be complete by this summer. We will keep you posted. Also, there will be another webinar soon. Watch out on the Website for updates of details and the title and most importantly date. Until next time. Take care. And Keep Safe…. David……. Your Webmaster
