‘It was a hot fire-prone day. It was the 1 year anniversary of the Black Summer fires, and now Noah was worried that the dreaded summer was about to come back for revenge. Noah was waiting for the call that he dreaded, the call of a fire. As he waited he could see something in the corner, but he couldn’t exactly see what it was. As he looked for a closer view, Noah realised what it was. It was the fire's revenge. Noah waited and waited for the firies but still, there was no one. As the fire got closer he could hear the explosions come louder and closer. The fire was ripping, no truck for him to defend with, nothing. Finally, after what felt like hours, Nosh could hear sirens. Oh. he was so relieved. But then he heard another explosion. We race to the scene of the adrenalin pumping. When we reached the heartbreaking fire we knew that we were in for a massive fight for our lives. As they swiftly ran to the front of the fire we knew that we needed backup. Noah called for backup and in the blink of an eye, they were there. Knowing that there was backup he raced to get more fuel. On his way back from a quick fuel stop. He got a loud call saying get in now. So knowing that his crew needed help and with a flash of lightning, he was there. The fire was now well and truly out of control. Unfortunately for Noah, the fire had taken control of everything and had passed the front and now it was soaring towards them. Noah knew his truck was full so used every last mL of water. But still, that was just not enough. Now Noah was losing hope and he thought that there was nothing left, but then in the very, very distant, he could hear something, something very faint. He waited a minute and then he realized what it was. As soon as he saw it he was so happy. It was more backup, but not just 1 truck, many trucks, helicopters, planes. He was so happy. He came and helped and then he got a great call from his boss. Go control. Oh, he was so happy and he couldn’t believe it. He’d beaten the fire that seemed unbeatable. He’d get to see his family knowing that the fire's revenge was over.
