This video will demonstrate how to reserve for an item in the library. Users can use Web Opaque to search for printed books and media resources. Prior to the item searching, determine your specific keyword to get the most relevant search results. Type in your keyword in the search box. Select your search type by clicking the title, author name, subject, call number, ISBN or ISSN. Then click Find. The search results will appear. Browse the results to get the item that you are looking for. Click on the preferred title. The bibliographic details will be displayed. If an item is already checked out, reservation could be made if there is no available copy in the library. To place a reservation, click on Reserve. Key in your Identity card or Passport number and password that is last four digits of your Identity card or Full Passport number to proceed. Confirm the title to reserve by clicking the Yes button. The reservation confirmation will be displayed. To check on your reservation list, click on View Reservation. If you are no longer interested to reserve the item, tick in the box, then click Cancel Reservation. The reserved item will be kept at the Main Counter for a week to be picked up before it will put back on its original shelf. Click My Reservation from My Library menu to check your reservation status. To renew an item, kindly log in using your Identity card or Passport number and password that is last four digits of your Identity card or Full Passport number to access the account. Click on My Loan Item at My Library tab. The loan item is eligible for one renewal online. Choose the item to renew by clicking in the box on the left side. Then click the Renew button. Now your loan item has been successfully renewed. To check your loan record, click the View History. The item details and due date will appear on the screen.
