We’ve found a large market problem: the lack of tuition capabilities for all-age categories coupled with the children's tuition transportation issues. This is an ever-growing problem with high intensity due to the knowledge gap for all ages, the difficulty in finding and comparing tuition, and busy working families. The issue is now amplified by the current pandemic restrictions. The problem’s frequency is also high in terms of repetition, pattern, and rhythm. This problem is global, has a $113 billion market value and a 14.21% compound annual growth rate. Introducing the solution: LessonPlaza. Our education technology startup is a scalable one-stop-shop digital platform to build a quality, measurable and personalized learning experience, designed to give tuition of all types and ages accessibility, simplicity, convenience, and confidence. It’s a digital marketplace to interconnect students, subjects, tutors, and all other tuition-related products and services. Whether students of all ages are looking for one-on-one or one-to-many, online or face-to-face tutoring, LessonPlaza is dedicated to helping everyone achieve their personal and academic goals providing a wide range of fully qualified tutors and subjects. Students can skim through the relevant classes and search for local or non-local tutors. Both students and tutors can rate each other and leave reviews in the app. To expand LessonPlaza’s power and market penetration, we’ve added three extra unique add-ons: 1. RidePlaza – the startup “WOW” factor. We believe in families and we celebrate the hard-working parents who continue to chase their career dreams and the kids who are just discovering what their dreams are. As parents ourselves, we believe the entire family should be able to do the things they love and need without compromising the family, so we have designed an add-on, named RidePlaza. This is a unique service that rethinks the idea of kids’ transportation, getting them anytime and anywhere from school to tuition, sports practice, or even play-dates with safe and reliable rides fully controlled by our app. Accordingly, we’ve came with a unique feature: real-time in-vehicle cameras in order for parents to see and communicates live with their kids during the transportation time. RidePlaza is a purpose-built add-on that solves children's transportation challenges and safely connects drivers, parents, schools, and tutors. It’s the new age of student transportation - rides and care for kids going places. We saw the need for children transportation services that brings more freedom, choice, and career opportunity to working parents. Many of them have long been disadvantaged due to an outdated school, tuition, and childcare transportation that requires them to step out of their jobs to pick their children up from school. Parents should never have to make the choice between advancing their careers or taking care of their children. 2. PDDPlaza There is another key LessonPlaza add-on based on the PinDuoDuo concept. Accordingly, we have included the 1-on-N online classes that allow students to participate in group online tutoring. This concept caters to an audience usually neglected: lower-income students. 3. ChatPlaza LessonPlaza also allows instant communication between children and tutors so that their queries can be answered in real-time. It has a chat-like interface that makes it easy for students, parents, and tutors to use. It maintains a stringent filtering process to ensure that only the best tutors get on board using a SaaS payment system. LessonPlaza’s revenue streams are as follows: • Commission fees applied to all tuition and transportation services • Monthly subscription fees charged to tutors and students for ChatPlaza (SaaS) • Monthly subscription fees charged to parents to access the in-vehicle cameras (SaaS) • Displaying advertising banner ads and promotional campaigns • Online e-commerce (marketplace) for any tuition products and services LessonPlaza is currently at the MVP stage, ready to be launched. We have already developed the technology, fully cloud, as a result of $80k investment that gives us a 10-month time gain.
