Dear Chairman and members of the Commission. I would like to present my final qualifying work on the topic: Development of typical projects for elimination of accumulated environmental damage objects (MSW landfills) The problem of accumulated environmental damage remains unresolved and has become increasingly acute, threatening the environment and human life and health. The relevance of the work lies in the need to eliminate accumulated environmental damage objects (particularly MSW landfills) throughout the territory of the Russian Federation. Research objective Is to propose a method for a typical project for elimination of accumulated environmental damage at MSW landfills. The tasks of the work are: 1. To study the problem of eliminating accumulated environmental damage at MSW landfills. 2. To analyze the methods of reclamation of MSW landfills used in the Russian Federation and developed countries. 3. To evaluate the ecological and economic efficiency of reclamation methods for MSW landfills. 4. To select the best available method for a typical project for the elimination of accumulated environmental damage objects - MSW landfills. The object of the study is MSW landfills as objects of accumulated environmental damage The following methods were used to achieve the goal, which are presented on the slide. Conclusions 1. MSW landfills are objects of accumulated environmental damage. They remain sources of negative impact on the environment even after they are they are closed and decommissioned. 2. The problem of elimination of accumulated environmental damage at MSW landfills is that many landfills do not meet the requirements of sanitary rules and regulations, due to an increase in the formation of MSW, the capacity of many landfills will be exhausted before their service life, funding comes from the state. 3. Currently, there are 3 methods of reclamation of MSW landfills: conservation, reconstruction, and elimination. The most preferable and ecological and economic effective method is the conservation of MSW landfills. The method of elimination is effective in cases when the cost of land on which MSW landfills are located exceeds 2 million rubles per hectare. 4. The reclamation of MSW landfills can be considered for a typical project of elimination of objects of accumulated environmental damage - MSW landfills.
