The true spiritual practitioner can be described as one who has decided to make their spirituality a defining way of living and interacting with both the seen and unseen. They choose the spiritual path that appeals the most to them, and start working and learning from there. As time goes on, the practitioner may add to or switch to other paths. The practitioner is a perpetual seeker and learner, for they know that spiritual knowledge is infinite. They are willing to go out of their way to learn new spiritual principles, rituals, techniques and tools. Importantly, they know how to communicate with the Creator, Guardian Spirit, ancestors and a variety of spirit guides. They know the function and abilities of various spirit entities (including human beings), and communicate with these entities accordingly. The practitioner learns very quickly to differentiate between mundane and the occult events, and knows the appropriate wisdom to apply to either situation. The spiritual practitioner knows the value of ritual from personal experience. They have specific rituals with which they start and end their day, week, month and year. The spiritual practitioner is also conversant with many spiritual principles that enable them to direct and manifest results in their lives. They know which principle to apply to every life situation, why it should be applied, as well as how the principle should be applied. If the correct spiritual principle or techniques is not known at that moment, the practitioner knows how to obtain the requisite information, quickly and efficiently, from the most direct source. The practitioner also know how to apply spiritual principles for good and for evil, and understands the consequences of such applications. When the practitioner becomes a master, they can create powerful, efficacious rituals that can be used by themselves or others. The spiritual practitioner often practices alone, yet has access to other practitioners with whom they can share knowledge, information and support. The practitioner knows that the acquisition of knowledge and spiritual power is a continuous, life-long activity.
