Let us know some simple ways to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in your workplace: • Make sure your workplaces area is clean and hygienic; Surfaces (such as desks and tables) and objects (such as telephones, keyboards) need to be wiped with disinfectant regularly • Educate your co-workers, friends and family members on the signs and symptoms of COVID-19 about what to do if they become ill, or are exposed to someone who is sick. • Please do regular and thorough hand-washing. • Put sanitizing hand rub dispensers to reach places around your workplace and make sure these dispensers are regularly refilled. • Promote good respiratory hygiene in your workplace. • Ensure that face masks or paper tissues are available at your workplaces, for those who develop a runny nose or cough at work and make sure the same used tissues are disposed in a closed bin. • Minimize physical contact with your co-workers. • Discourage handshaking. It’s almost an involuntary response, especially when doing business, but the CDCP that is Centre of disease control and prevention strongly advises against handshakes during the coronavirus pandemic. • Create flexible worksites that accommodate remote work and telework. Allow for fewer people in the office, reduce on-site meetings, and discourage visitors unless absolutely necessary. • Increase the frequency of routine deep cleanings, with a focus on high-touch surfaces in the workplace, such as workstations, keyboards, telephones, handrails, and doorknobs.
