In this video, we are going to show you how to create an inbound email account in SugarCRM. Go to the admin panel and select the “Inbound Email” option. After that, click on the “Inbound Email” drop-down menu from the top menu bar. Then, select the “New Group Mail Account” option. Here, you’ll need to fill all the mandatory fields. Enter the name of your account and choose your email service provider. Put your Mail server address and other information. For this, you may need to contact your email service provider. Next, you need to provide an appropriate username along with a strong password. While selecting a Trash folder you may encounter an issue like this. You’ll also get an email from your service provider regarding the same. In order to fix this, open that email and go to the security panel. Here, you need to allow access to less secure apps. Now check whether the Trash folder is showing or not. If not then go to your email inbox settings. After that, enable the IMAP. This will allow other clients to access your mail through IMAP. Now, you will be able to choose the trash folder. Provide a name that will appear in the “From” field. Review all the fields and if everything seems correct, click on the “Save” button at the top-right corner. As you can see the new inbound email account is successfully created. Thanks for watching.
