Shark fin soup is a specialty of Chinese cuisine, primarily a broth prepared with the skeleton of shark fins and some vegetables and condiments. Shark fins are one of the most expensive marine fauna products in the world, exceeding USD $ 80 / kg, used almost exclusively for soup in China.
