First of all, do not hate anyone involved in this story or video, such as Hiwata no Nadoko team, KGFTBZ, and such. Every negative comment will be removed immediately. Thank you. Second of all, this information might not be exact, but that's the closest version of what happened. In the Yandere Simulator community, 2016 is mostly known for the rise of Yandere Simulator's popularity. A person named KGFTBZ (remember this name) starts to work on a project called Pose Mod, which still exists to this day. Pose Mod is, let's name it DLC (Downloadable Content) that allows you to create mods for Yandere Simulator. People started making their projects just for fun. In 2017, there was a project, that began to turn into the fan-game, and as a result, becoming a full game. Welcome. My name is FrostlySurbz. I am here to tell you the story of the most intriguing mod (fan-game) back in 2017-2018 inspired by Yandere Simulator, Hiwata No Nadoko. To be short, Hiwata No Nadoko, formerly Bullied Simulator, is a stealth-based game about a girl, Reika Hinode, formerly Ijimi Garu, a kind and hard-working student, she was also a high achieving student. She was very popular with students and teachers alike. However, everything has changed when she was torn apart by a group of bullies. Tomiko Sonohara, formerly Omoi Agaru, is one of them. She had transferred from another school and with the help of other students spread horrible rumors about Reika to destroy her. Reika became depressed, causing a psychotic breakdown. Tired of being despised, she wanted to hurt her tormentors and stop them from inflicting pain on anyone else. Hiwata no Nadoko began as a modification build of Yandere Simulator. The project was created by BaronLuke89. The project was started being worked on somewhere in autumn of 2016. The first mention of Hiwata no Nadoko I could find is November 12th, 2016, the first date of Hiwata no Nadoko's archived blog page, however the official Youtube channel of Hiwata no Nadoko was created on December 11th, 2016. Hiwata no Nadoko started gaining popularity at the start of 2017. By information I have on my hands, the public mod build of Hiwata no Nadoko was released for 3 days, and removed afterward. Content creators, such as VeggieGamer, BijuuMike, etc started making videos of the gameplay of Hiwata no Nadoko's mod build, which is one of the reasons this game got the attention of the Yandere Simulator community. After a lack of the support, Hiwata Team decided to move on and make a whole game. The game, of course, was considered being inspired by Yandere Simulator. By 2017, Hiwata team began to work on the full game. There are some released videos of the first build of the game, which contains an old house of Reika's (back at the moment Ijimi's), school building, and simple students you can't interact with. However, later on, a lot of drama started happening. By 2018 and first progress reports, the Hiwata team has started to decrease. The main explanatory reason is: a lot of drama has happened behind the scenes. Remember KGFTBZ, the person who created PoseMod which I talked about at the start of this video? He was the lead programmer of this project by 2017-2018, however, after this timeline, he left the project. He was being threatened by the team to pump out supplies and stuff. To explain this, the team made a narrative that KG was a big bad person who threatened to "delete the code every second". When he was leaving the project, he took some of the most important stuff from Hiwata no Nadoko, such as Ino Rito, the character of Hiwata no Nadoko. That explains the reason why she is appearing and KG's game, Anime Life Sim. You can see her as an NPC in there. Because of that, the team had to re-design Ino completely afterward. After KG's leaving, everything started to go downhill - one of the most important people involved in this project is leaving it. Most people left Hiwata no Nadoko team: some left the project of their own volition, some got kicked out of it. I am not trying to say that KGFTBZ is the reason for the fall of Hiwata no Nadoko. A lot happened after it, that's all. By 2018, the team has also started working on the game again after scandals. They took a long break from it again in July of 2018, and then returned in February 2019, but then completely disappeared. What happened to the game? This question remains without an answer. The most exact answer is the game got unofficially canceled. The team is smaller than it was back in the days when Hiwata no Nadoko skyrocketed. Most people from the team were the students who worked on the project in their spare time. A lot of drama happened as well. Blogs, discord server, some links don't work anymore. The last thing we've seen from the Hiwata team is their post on Twitter on October 19th, 2019. I miss the old days, and I miss Hiwata no Nadoko as well. It's been 4 years since the announcement of Hiwata no Nadoko. I saw these 4 years pass by. If you are someone from the Hiwata team watching this, you are an amazing person and I am sure your work in this team was the best. Thank you! I hope you enjoyed this video, bye for now
