Department of wildlife and ecology, the former department of wildlife and ecosystem, was established in <amazon:auto-breaths>2002</amazon:auto-breaths>. <amazon:auto-breaths>After five years</amazon:auto-breaths>, when the department started its first postgraduate course, it was the first-ever academic department in Pakistan dedicated specifically to the field of wildlife management and conservation. Later on, the canvas was broadened and now the department is offering four postgraduate and an undergraduate degree, also the courses from the department are being offered in various degree programs such as DVM, biotechnology, Biological sciences, and environmental sciences. We strongly believe that wildlife and ecology students need hands-on training, therefore the department harbor not only labs but also a huge variety of captive wildlife and zoological museum.
