The Lions Club of West Beach was formed in April 1964. From its beginning, the club has been involved in many aspects of community life. The club’s members constitute a cross section of the community. They contribute their skills and time to achieve the goals that the club sets. Lions have lots of fun together while they serve the community and raise funds through various projects. This club collects unwanted spectacles for Lions Recycle For Sight. cleaned up and refurbished a caravan at the West Beach Caravan Park for the use of Camp Quality families. supported Cara. support the Australian Lions hearing dogs. cooks barbecues at Bunnings. makes donations to various charities and organisations, including the Sammy D Foundation, and so much more.
