Say you want to morph between a circle and a square. First, you need to make the two different shapes you want to morph between. Now go under the path options for both shapes and right-click the path and select Convert To Bezier Path. Next just set a keyframe on the path for both shapes. Copy the keyframe from one shape and paste it on the other. You can now delete the extra shape. If your square is moving position as it morphs, set a keyframe for the anchor point. Go to where the morph ends. Press Y and move the anchor point to the center of the square. It should have set another keyframe. Now the shape doesn't move and you can reposition it wherever you want.
