(Oh, is it finally working?) How delightful. Hello there! My name is Dr. Friedrich Nibbles. (pause) I am a clinical psychologist, currently working both in private practice and as a lecturer at Princeton University's program for squirrels. Now I have recently heard from my human colleagues at the university that many students have been struggling with issues of mental health and wellness, especially during these times of social distancing and isolation due to the pandemic. So, after much thought, I have decided to take a leave of absence from my professional work till the end of this semester to fully dedicate my time towards helping Princeton students in addressing any questions and concerns that they might have in their lives at the moment. Once you send us your anonymous inquiries, we will do our very best to respond to your issues each week in the form of these short videos. Now doing this virtually is certainly an experiment we have never done before, so we beg for your patience and understanding as we figure the logistics out as we go. At this point many of you may be wondering, what useful words would a squirrel possibly have to offer me? To that I say, having spent the entire twelve squirrel years of my life at this institution, I have certainly been here long enough to understand the ins and outs of the human Princeton experience. And although I may not be able to guarantee a tried and tested solution to your every need, rest assured, I will most certainly be able to provide some direction and advice, if not at least be an ear for your concerns and offer a few words of comfort. So thank you very much. And I hope to hear from you all very soon. Have a lovely rest of your day.
